I know many of you get shocked when you saw this image. Yes, an acid attack victim, that too a male. So, it is quite clear that female are not the only acid attack victims. Four years back when I was in metro, I saw a boy (acid attack victim). I was in practice those days and was going to court in my uniform. He came towards me and started asking about the court’s location as he guessed that I am also going in the same court. We shared the auto and I asked about the incident or I must say accident. He just replied in a sentence that IT WAS THE RESULT OF HIS BROTHER’S FAULT. I didn’t ask anything further because he was feeling extremely hurt. Well, let it be but I am writing this blog because we all know that its an inhumane act, and being the one from legal field I would say that it’s a violent assault in which any burning substance is thrown on the body of another with the intention of disfiguring him or her. We have mostly seen movies and series only on female victims but this is not the only truth. This crime not only burns the skin tissues but the mental trauma is the permanent output of this bitter crime.

In our country, we need to spread a lot more consciousness against this crime. And at last I would say that please help the victims at your own level and please never de-motivate them by your words or body language because they are already suffering a lot. Let us all at least try.
